The Pawaya is studded with ancient ----- ---- ranging in date from the 3rd to the 8th centuries. A.D.------- . Naga coins,terracotta figures and stone sculptures dating from the Gupta periods (Circa 300 A.D.) found here are preserved in the archaeological Museum at Gwalior.
