The old fortress which contains 53 images of stones called Sada Bhada

The old Gond fortress has 53 stone images. They are known as "Sada Bhada". One of the figures represents a rider with an umbrella over-head. Before him there is a female, seated in a palanquin. The third image is a standing figure of man with a sword and shield in hand. The figure is carved in yellow stone and is called "Bhadia-Sada." The other figures are rather unimportant. According to the Gonds when they were the masters of this area, Sada-Bhada was their Raja. While he was proceeding with his marriage procession along this way all of them turned into these stone figures. It is dated to the medieval period.
